Day 1: Hue city and DMZ-Vinh Moc Tunnel (110km)
Option 2: Hue Motorbike Tour pick you from Hue and ride along local village and countryside to Cua Tung beach. On the way our riders will stop at some local places for you to take pictures and local coffee. While ride along the village you can see local people working on farm, rice field. The ride with peaceful sights around give you start a fresh day. Then our riders stop at the beach so you can take pictures and rest while hearing the waves beat
And we continue on to the Vinh Moc Tunnels which is unbelievable work of local people in the war. Explore the tunnel to see magic underground construction that people dug by hands and simple tools most made from bamboo.
Ben Hai River (known as 17th Parallel and also the border line between North and South Vietnam during the American war )and Hien Luong Bridge (a symbol of division, expectations and the pain of loss, a historic witness of Vietnam’s tragic but ultimately victorious past )
Next we ride through the villages to see green pepper crops and rubber trees farm then we spend the first night at the hotel by Cua Tung Queen Beach and explore the area by night
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh East trail and Phong Nha caves(120km)
In the morning we will explore the Vinh Moc Tunnel (It was dug in 1965 and finished in 1967 with simple tools in 18000 labor days .The total length of the tunnels is nearly 2,000 m long with 6 entrances to the tops of hills and 7 entrances to the South China sea )
Then we continue on the Highway 9 (part of Ho Chi Minh Trails ) to Phong Nha to explore the caves and grottos system (It was listed in UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites in 2003 for its geological values)
Tour ended here and we will drop you at Phong Nha Farmstay ,you can simply take time to experience local village life or chill out in a hammock by the pool. We stay here for the night
Day 3: Phong Nha Caves to Khe Sanh via Ho Chi Minh Trails(100km)
After breakfast we ride on the west Ho Chi Minh trail, today you have the chance to see the real trail with its mind-blowing, spectacular scenery – lots of jungle, mountains, waterfalls and villages of the Paco and Van Kieu Minorities.
We will ride through the Sa Mu pass, se pang heng river, Lang Ho village, U bo pass, areas made famous in the American war. And then we arrive at Khe Sanh which was established as a forward base by General Westmoreland near Laos to secure highway 9. We stay here for one night
Day 4: Khe Sanh to Aluoi to Prao(160km)
After breakfast at a local restaurant we will visit Khe Sanh combat base (Ta Con Airport). Then we head out across the famous Dakrong bridge on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, near the town of Ta Rut we will visit the Pa Co Ethnic minority village and see their daily life
Then we ride about 110 km to Aluoi, during this time we cross one of the longest and most stunning passes in Vietnam while travelling on a new and quiet road, through amazing scenery of primitive forests in the imposing Truong son mountain range. We stop for lunch in Aluoi town, then in the afternoon we travel on to Prao and for this 100km you will be surprised with the jungle, mountains, waterfalls and the quietness, peace and amazing views.
We will spend the night in Prao town
Day 5: Prao to Hoi An(120km)
Option1:This morning after having breakfast we continue 52km on the Ho Chi Minh Trail to the town of Thanh My.
We cross the river by local boat and drive on a village road to My Son Holly land, a world heritage site that is the Cham version of Angkor Wat. We stop at My Son to explore the ruins and take many photos.
Then we continue on to Hoi An where we finish the tour
Option 2: After breakfast we ride down the mountain through the village,then we walk and visit an ethnic village .Continue on the road we will see tea farm
When we ride to Da Nang ,we will go up over on top Hai Van pass ,then get back to Marble mountain where you can visit caves and temples.After that we going to Hoi An
If you dont have much time but want to see more about the rural village. You can take motorbike tour from Hue to Hoi An or Phong Nha 2 days
